John Wirzbicki practices in the areas of Social Security Disability law and general commercial litigation.  Additionally, he handles a variety of housing, consumer and Indian law cases.  Prior to joining Brown Jacobson, Mr. Wirzbicki worked for Connecticut Legal Services in New London, Connecticut  where he handled cases in the areas of housing and consumer law.

While attending law school at the University of Connecticut, he was an intern in the school’s criminal law clinic and worked part time for the Office of the Public Defender in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Mr. Wirzbicki has served as a member of the Groton Town Council and is a former member of the School Board of the Town of Groton, the Groton Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Groton Representative Town Meeting. He also served on two Charter Revision Commissions for the Town of Groton.
