


Brown Jacobson’s 15th annual Banking Seminar, held March 13, 2008, attracted more than 45 bank officers including: presidents, vice presidents, loan officers and other members of the local banking community. After a reception in the firm’s newly renovated lobby and conference rooms, members of the firm’s Commercial Department addressed recent developments in foreclosure law and builder/architect transactions. After the presentation, dinner and dessert were served in the Library.
In the past, Brown Jacobson’s Banking Seminars have addressed such subjects as lender liability, bankruptcy reform, title insurance, revisions to secured transactions/Article IX, environmental law, and business development with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe.
This year’s event attracted attendees from Chelsea Groton Savings Bank, Dime Bank, The Citizens National Bank, Liberty Bank, Eastern Federal Bank, Putnam Bank, Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Office of Legal Counsel, New Alliance Bank, People's United Bank, and the Savings Institute Bank & Trust.
Brown Jacobson will hold its next Banking Seminar in March 2009.
